The Rules tab defines rules that the are used by the job to determine clash detections. Normally, rules are applied to tell the job to ignore certain components or elements in the model during clash detection. A number of default rules are setup, and these rules are based on the application that was used to create the original model.

Rules can be turned on and off and new rules can be created or duplicated .
